Hi. I'm Bethany. I was born in the 1970s (but just barely!) and I was influenced greatly by the pop culture of the 1980s. I'm the wife of an amazing guy I met in a chat room in the 1990s, the mother of two amazing sons I birthed in the 2000s, the creator of fictional characters named Sarah Hollenbeck, Cadie McCaffrey, and Hadley Beckett, who introduced themselves to me in the 2010s, and the author of Plot Twist, The Do-Over, and several other stories that will be available to read in the 2020s.
Okay...that's six decades. And now I feel old. Maybe I should have phrased all of that differently...
Anyway, I'm glad you're here.
In 2014 I walked away from my career in bank management, and that meant walking away from security. And I don't just mean financial security...though that was no small concern, I assure you! Since then, God has taken my life and turned it into a living representation of His promise which is found in Ephesians 3:20. He truly is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine!
Just like my life, this site will be continually under development, so check back often! The blog will feature some old posts and new, there will be news and release information sprinkled throughout, and please look around and find the other ways to connect with me.
As for my books, well...they're a mixed bag as well! There are some self-published general market novels which are no longer my focus, but which 
helped awaken this crazy, irrational love of writing that I just can't seem to shake. (And they feature an inordinate amount of Colin Firth, so there's that.) My first romantic comedy for Revell/Baker Publishing Group, The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck, was released in October 2017, and that was followed by Wooing Cadie McCaffrey in May 2019. Hadley Beckett's Next Dish followed in May of 2020.
On June 14, 2021, my first romantic comedy for Thomas Nelson/Harper Collins was published. It's called Plot Twist, and it's a story I actually began working on way back in 2012. (And it features an inordinate amount of George Clooney, so there's that.) Next up is The Do-Over, which features my favorite hero yet (Henry Blumenthal...sigh...), with more stories on the way!
So let's keep traveling on in this journey we're taking together. The best is yet to come!
